Pathology (DVD, 2008, Checkpoint; Pan and Scan; Sensormatic; Widescreen)

In this movie we have two tv stars in Milo Ventimiglia ( Gilmore Girls
Season 1 thru 6, Heros Seasons 1 thru 4, etc) and Michael Weston (Monk
Season 3, House season 5, Six Feet Under season 4 & 5, etc) that are
trying for a big screen hit. The plot finds a med school grad named
Ted (Ventimiglia) who lands an internship at a prestigious pathology
unit in a Philadelphia hospital, he soon finds his new colleagues have
some pathological tendencies themselves. Seems his fellow interns have
designed a gruesome contest to commit the perfect untraceable murder,
while also competing to see who can determine the cause of death. Many
scenes are bloody in this movie, so not for the squeemish. Director
of the movie is Marc Schoelermann who is working on his first big screen
effort ever, and does an ok job- not bad but not overly impressive either.
If you like thrillers, then you will more than likely find something in
this flix that you enjoy and it does have a bit of horror to it. Other
than that, the movie is just average-some people will like it, but others
will not. It is good enough for an evenings entertainment though IF you
can get it at a REDUCED Ebay price- and not pay retail price.

I Did Not Really Care For This Movie. It Was Hard To Stay Interested In And Boring To Me. It Could Have Used A Little Bit More Of Action. The Ending Was Really Sad And Unexpected.

I basically bought it because Allysa Milano was in it. I wish she was in it more. The scenes in the hopital morgue are pretty gruesome but I learned something about that job by watching those scenes. This usually isn't the kind of movie I watch but I would highly reccomend it to anyone who likes movies like Halloween or Saw or Friday the 13th. I just wish the scenes with Allysa Milano were more erotic and not what they turned out to be.

Hey, This is actualy a very good movie. I had never heard of it before I ran accross it on e-bay. The ending seemed as something that maybe Edgar Allen Poe would have written. Some parts of the movie didn't seem to fit well but other than that it was a really good watch.

It was a different kind of movie.I liked the story.It had killing,blood,some plot twists.I bought it for Alyssa Milano,my favorite actress.

The film is graphic in content, so not for the faint of heart. Milo Ventimiglia portrays the main protagonist. He is very good, even when he is being very bad.

Some good twists and turns to the story. Movies seldom surprose me, but this one did. The filmakers certainly didn't deliver the classic goodguy vs. bad guy film.
