Not only does it contain the group's two biggest hits, "I Think I Love You" and "I Can Feel Your Heartbeat," it contains much-beloved album tracks like "Point Me in the Direction of Albuquerque" and "I Really Want To Know You." David Cassidy's chirpy vocals are--despite the singer/actor's insistence for years afterwards that he was in fact a serious rocker--just right for this brand of catchy bubblegum pop. If you're worried about consistency, remember that like the Monkees, the Partridge Family's producers and writers, led by the underrated Tony Romeo, were responsible for a new song for every episode of the series, which means that the albums have plenty of good sweet pop songs. Like the other albums in the Buddha/BMG reissue series, this is completely remastered and handsomely packaged.
