Paris, Je T'aime (2007, DVD)

Beautiful movie! It's a bunch of short stories on love that weave together well but have nothing to do with each other, except for being about love. One of the things I liked most was that the stories were not all about romantic love, but for example the love a mom has for her kid, among others. Also, holy crap, there were a lot of famous faces in this movie... I didn't expect that at all.

I loved this movie when it was released in the theatres. It is Paris divided up into sections of the city, and different sections receiving a 5 minute mini-movie. Some sections are funny. Some are tragic. Some are silly. Some are nostaligic. Some are wonderfully written, directed and acted. Some are ... well ... not quite as wonderful as others. But they are all interesting. Except the mine. Shoot the mime.

This movie was such a treat! A group of vignettes, mini stories each taking place in a different arrondisment of Paris. I could, and will, watch this one again and again!

I love foreign films. In This production, A new perspective is set forth. 5 minute snipets, into the lives of people all over paris.the settings are wonderful, the actors and actresess are perfect. It makes you stop, think about your life and consider all the endless possabilities of the world we live in.

I love Paris, and all things French. This is one of those films you look at, talk about, and contemplate your own take on Paris. Its a great city, very diverse, this film exploits that fact. Yes its full of famous directors and actors, but its all for the love of Paris France, period end of story. Spend an afternoon in Paris, for the shear pleasure, this is the film that will take you there. MR

whole bunch of short filmes showcasing different locations in Paris. directors were given 2 days and a location to make a 5 min short films. brilliant

Many vignettes, most of them delightful and touching. The Coen Brothers segment out and out hysterical.
Worth checking out.
