Paris, Je T'aime (DVD, 2007, Widescreen)

My husband discovered this looking through the FOREIGN films at Blockbuster - It was AWESOME! You'll love this if you're into foreign films (which we feel have more substance than American films) - We loved how each individual short film had it's own unique message without EVER being cliche or "cheesy" - It was more entertaining than A LOT of films we've watched recently - You're in for a truly great experience :-)

I love Paris, and all things French. This is one of those films you look at, talk about, and contemplate your own take on Paris. Its a great city, very diverse, this film exploits that fact. Yes its full of famous directors and actors, but its all for the love of Paris France, period end of story. Spend an afternoon in Paris, for the shear pleasure, this is the film that will take you there. MR

Many vignettes, most of them delightful and touching. The Coen Brothers segment out and out hysterical.
Worth checking out.

I really like this movie because it shows different parts and stories all over Paris. It is in French but has subtitles. I'm also taking French so it's good for me to practice. It's funny, sweet, and a little sad in some parts. Great romance movie!

The numerous short films in one is an ideal way to view PARIS and feel as many others experience Paris, both in English and in French, in life and in death (see the movie and you will understand.)
There is nothing to not like here. It is my 2nd fav. movie next to Babel and violon rouge.

Beautiful movie! It's a bunch of short stories on love that weave together well but have nothing to do with each other, except for being about love. One of the things I liked most was that the stories were not all about romantic love, but for example the love a mom has for her kid, among others. Also, holy crap, there were a lot of famous faces in this movie... I didn't expect that at all.

I loved this movie when it was released in the theatres. It is Paris divided up into sections of the city, and different sections receiving a 5 minute mini-movie. Some sections are funny. Some are tragic. Some are silly. Some are nostaligic. Some are wonderfully written, directed and acted. Some are ... well ... not quite as wonderful as others. But they are all interesting. Except the mine. Shoot the mime.

This movie was such a treat! A group of vignettes, mini stories each taking place in a different arrondisment of Paris. I could, and will, watch this one again and again!

I love foreign films. In This production, A new perspective is set forth. 5 minute snipets, into the lives of people all over paris.the settings are wonderful, the actors and actresess are perfect. It makes you stop, think about your life and consider all the endless possabilities of the world we live in.

whole bunch of short filmes showcasing different locations in Paris. directors were given 2 days and a location to make a 5 min short films. brilliant

DVD seemed brand new, just bought from a store and taken out of the plastic package. Towards the end of the film it did skip slightly, but rubbing the disk for a second cleared that problem up. I feel this was a good buy and am very appreciative for the excellent care and fast shipping.

Thank you so much for this DVD! I saw this film about a year ago and decided that I wasn't interested in paying $21 for it, so this was much more reasonable. My only drawback was the Blockbuster DVD. You can get them 3, sometimes 4, for $20 and felt a little cheaped out but am regardless happy with my product. Thank you.

I fell in love with this movie as soon as I saw it. I had never seen a commercialized set of short films created that were tied together thematically. There are some stories that I do not like, but otherwise the film works overall.

Excellent views of Paris, can use as a descriptive tool in showing a non-visito the beauty of the city. Good acting and diverse storylines keep you very interested
