Interesting look into Han Solo's Childhood

The Paradise Snare is the first book of a three book story arch called The Han Solo. It was released in 1998 in softcover format by Bantam Spectra books.
It details Han Solo's life from his escape from Trader's Luck until his entrance into the Imperial Academy, with some flashbacks to his childhood.
It is interesting to see Han dreaming of being a Navy fighter Pilot and how he goes about those dreams. As he jumps from one situation to the next we get to see how he is transformed from criminal to lovable idealistic rouge!
