Pantech PN-210, sometimes called the Verizon PN-210

If you need a phone that acts like a phone, this one will fill the bill. No camera, no web-browser (how can one browse the web on a tiny screen anyway??). Just a phone with text-messaging/e-mail. 100 names in the address book, polyphonic ringtones, caller ID, two-button speed-dial, and a few other odds-and-ends. And it doesn't take a four-week college-level course to learn how to use it. The screen becomes unreadable in sunlight, but move to the shade and that problem is solved.
