Pan's Labyrinth by Javier Navarrete (CD, Dec-2006, Milan)

If you have seen the movie , you probably have a good idea of the music. This is an excellent CD. One of the best soundtracks I have heard. If you have not seen the movie,on the movie site of the same name adding dotcom you can currently hear a song when it loads and look around and play samples from the CD so you get a good idea of it before you buy. I describe it as fantasy classical as after seeing the movie you seem to be drawn into the music in that special way. It is very hard to describe. You can listen to this CD while you work as it is relaxing. I am generally not a huge fan of classical music and lullaby type music but something clicks with this one. Pricing is fairly good on eBay on this CD. If you have not seen the movie, do so, just read the reviews and you will know why. I give this CD an A+++ rating.

Beautiful and Haunting, it seems to lift the spirit at the same time it washes you in deep sadness and joy. One of the best Motion picture scores I have ever heard. Timeless.

I bought it because its one of my favorite movies. I love it. I love the lullabye. It maybe a bad movie for kids but it puts my 2 year old and my one year old to sleep its very awesome music. I love it so much!

Javier Navarette's score for Pan's Labyrinth perfectly complements the film's mysterious and etheral qualities - this album is a masterpiece.

I imagined it would feel me with the same kind of feelings as the movie and I was right. If you just sit back and let your mind wonder in and out of the music you can feel yourself feel up with it. Sometimes it's almost to much....but, that's just the hippie in me talking. If your a deep thinker, you'll love it.

I would love to write a review, however since the seller has taken my money, and still after 2 months has not sent me the CD, I am unable to write the review. The seller is DVD350 in case anyone is interested, perhaps a COD is in your best interest if you plan on buying from this person.
