Panic Room (DVD, 2002, The Superbit Collection)

I hope people can appreciate the fact that I'm trying to save them money, by telling them that this movie is a waste of time and money. The plot was very weak. The photography was some of the worst I have ever seen. Jodie Foster is one of my favorite actresses...but she was at her worst in this movie.
I do hope that people will appreciate my honesty and consider this review as HELPFUL.

This movie will be sure to keep you on the edge of your seat! Overall, a great movie with decent acting that you'll will enjoy. Watch at night with some popcorn for the maximum effect!

An excellent movie with Jodie Foster turning in an outstanding performance.
However, no need for the crooks using the "F" word every other word in their speech. I went out and bought a new RCA DVD player with built-in TV Guardian which mutes the profanity and makes the movie watchable. It is a shame that movie studious think it necessary to insert profanity to spoikl movies like they do. TV Guardian costs very little, but we shouldn't have to buy it because of their stupidity.

I like the cat-like mind of Jodie Foster. She plays in those movies that are surreal and keep you watching. Give it a try ... you'll definitely like it!

I rented this DVD because I enjoy thrillers and suspense. I ALWAYS have appreciated Jodie Foster. This is a great movie because it builds and becomes more dramatic as the scenes unfold. It is believable and that is very important for me to get consumed and involved with characters and situations. Entertainment is an escape for me and I better get out of myself and feel an adrenalin rush or I am disappointed. I bought this for exceeding my expectations. --Dan Ushman, Ocala, Florida, USA

Watching this movie makes you take a gasp , sit on the edge of your seat and keep waiting to see what happens next hoping for the good ending and not sure if it will come excellent for a cold night to sit and be entertained i love it

I ordered this and paid through paypal on August 8, 2007. Today is September 7, 2007 and I notified seller about 2 weeks ago and again this morning and have heard absolutely nothing! It's just a movie and seller lives in Northern Ca and I in So Cal, so shipping shouldn't take very long at all. I am extremely disappointed with this seller. The seller has had her money since August and I still have no movie and I'm out $5.74 which isn't much, but it's principle here. I bought this movie for my son who is a huge Jared Leto fan and the movie was hard to find and I thought I finally had it. He has so been looking forward to seeing this movie. I've bought many items from Ebay and mostly satisfied and sellers are normally great.(I've also sold items and always kept communication open with buyer) Obviously, this has been a disappointing experience this time around.

I like all the stars in this film. Dwight plays such a good bad guy. Forest Witaker and Jodie Foster deliver. I just like this film. The house is cool, and the caos that ensues is gripping. Its a great film. MR

The movie really kept me on my toes. Great movie, would watch it over and over. I saw the previews on TV and always wanted to see it, so when i got the chance to purchase it on ebay i did. And i am so glad that i did.

Great Movie, I think I should instal one of these rooms! I love the acting of both the main characters. Kristen stewart is a rising star.

I believe Panic Room was more about missed opportunities than well executed exercises in tension. Perhaps if we knew more about Meg we could understand why she needs a 4,000 square foot house to begin with. Maybe we could then realize why she is intrigued by the need for a panic room. I wanted to feel connected a bit more with her character to understand her moves and to anticipate her feelings. For me, tension and terror is more intense when it comes from the mind than what we see in this movie.

The movie had too much violence and too much usage of the "F" word! This movie is for adults only! Jodie Foster is an awesome actress and that was the best part of the movie. There is a lot of suspense; so you will get your money's worth on that. Definitely not one of my favorites! Bought it cheap on Ebay; so I feel like I got a good deal.
