When we gave this TV to my dad last Christmas as a I surprise it was incredible. I hauled the 100 pound monster off the truck myself and literally threw my back out doing it, but upon the first glipse of seeing a football game in HD I literally cried. The picture on this television is incredible. Contrast Ratio on computer screens is usually 400:1, but on Plama TVs its much higher. On this model specifically its 3000:1, which means the picture is extremely bright.

Careful when setting the tv up as we almost dropped it trying to get the stand to go on. The craftsmanship on the TV is incredible, the way the black lays on top of the silver gives it a very professional look. It is almost resembles an Apple product. Keep in mind that you do not need to buy a home theater set up to enjoy this TV. Built into its thing profile are 6 speakers total. It has two woofers and 4 tweeters to pump out your favorite movies or music. It also has a slot for you to plug in your SD memory cards so you can view photos on the TV.

My main concern with this television was how would it interact with HD products from Comcast. Lucky for me it has an HD converter built into the unit, so you can put rabbit ears on it and pick up your local channels in HD. I had no issues plugging in Comcast equipment into the back fo the television. In fact this thing has so many ports that the family will never have enough electronics to fill them all. S-video, HDMI, audio outs, audio ins…everything but the kitchen sink.

The one downpoint of this TV is in order to jump to Video 1 or Video 3 you need to hit the input button over and over again….there is no way to just jump to a particular input.
