Panasonic SV-MP010 (1 GB) MP3 Player

Has the longest lasting battery life of any mp3 player that I have seen or heard of. Battery life is an incredible 80 hours on just one AAA battery! Turning on and off is easy just hold the play button for a few seconds. Controls are on top of the unit which is rectangular in shape. Buttons are pretty easy to touch and use but sometimes you need to click it again because the controls are close together and the clicking of the buttons are always responsive. Most of the time however you can control the unit easily without even looking. Unit is small and pretty light and comes with very good headphones compare to most of the other headphones that come with other mp3 players. Background screen color is orange with black font and you can't change the color which is no big deal but would be cool if you could change the background color. So come with armband and more colors and a bigger hard drive would be nice. Good for beginners who want a simple easy to use no frills mp3 player. You can get it for very cheap compare to other brand name mp3 players.

This player was a replacement for one that got stolen. It has the best sound that can be packed into any player big or small. Love the small size and the fact that it uses standard AA batteries which last almost forever. If the Ipod could get close to the sound quality of the Panasonic then Apple could be in the same game. Don't think that will ever happen.
Pros everything about the player. ease of operation small size GREAT sound good batteries life do not need special software to interface with computer, I use Linux and it works great.
Cons. None just do not let it out of your sight or it may leave you for good.
