Panasonic SDR-S7

I like how it's small, easy to use, and takes not the best but still decent quality videos(perhaps best for around $200 camcorders.) Its small size will def. make you wanna carry it anywhere you go without bulk. It holds pretty nice in hand, solid feeling, also good image stabilization. If you wanna have fun with friends and family, this is a perfect fit. I think it'd be perfect for those with a baby too.

I just received this today, and maybe I am still in the "honeymoon" phase but this camcorder has exceeded all my expectations. This little device makes you wonder how a device so small can produce such clear, focused video snippets. I can't explain; I can only appreciate the fact that I own one of these magic boxes.So easy to use that my wife can operate it. I am a happy customer; thanks Panasonic.

This item has a lot a features, and easy to use. Very compact. Picture quality very nice. Transfer to DVD very simple. I would recommend this item to anyone who wants to try this type of product and have excellent end results. I needed something to record physical assessments at an affordable price.This is perfect.

This camera is perfect for everyday use. Sure it doesn't have a super optical zoom, 10x. But it does have a digital zoom up to 700x. The zoom in digital mode is a little too quick. Even when you press the zoom button lightly it likes to jump from the 10x optical zoom all the way to the 700x zoom. If you play with it enough you can control it but it is difficult. The battery life is not very long though. You can buy replacement batterys on-line for about $13 each. I still think this is a great camera for the price. Picture quality is better than I expected.

It's a very small camcorder, but you really have to see it in order to know what I'm talking about.
The video quality is really good - but make sure you put it at the highest setting.
However, you might need to make sure you hold it firmly during shooting because it's really small, so it might fall off your hands. Or you can make use of the wrist wrap.

Even though I own a dozen camcorders, the S7 is the one that's always in my pocket. Why? It's the only one that fits. True, some of my camcorders are high definition, but no matter how good they are, they can't shoot a video unless they are with me. The small size of the S7 allows it to be with me almost anywhere. The image is better than the quality of a really clean standard TV broadcast, but not quite as sharp as a DVD. The sound is excellent, and doesn't clip or distort in very loud environments like most camcorders seem to do. Many times, I use this in the field as a digital microphone strictly to record actors on stage or voiceovers for commercials. Nice camera great extras and just what i was looking for. Easy to use easy to transport nice tripod with a level great carry case bag too.
Forget Wal-Mart . We are heading for Disney world with the grand kids this camera will be so handy to use. Nice software included and easy usb file transfer to make dvds.
You will spend a little more cash to get more sdhc cards but 8gig should give about 4hrs of record time. If it wasn't for our trip that would have been plenty for everyday fliming. It takes stills as well. Will probably be the only camera I use from now on.

This is my second sdr7 I liked it so much that when I saw this deal on another one I biught it too. It is what a camcorder should be;small enough to fit in your shirt pocket and perfect videos and stills. It is so easy to use. I don't care for the software that came it though. I guess the small size is what makes it so desirable !

I was amazed at it once I got it. Panasonic has always been good. It is way more compact than I had imagined, it works really well an I have not one complaint. I use it three or four times a week and love it... The color was cool too, the blue! I have not tried all of the fancy extras it came with but I plan on it in the future when it calls for them.
