Panasonic Palmcorder Multicam PV-GS35

Best zoom in it's class... best low light capability, good software with it, better than average battery life, controls are intuitive... excellent value...

I have only used this camera a couple times so far, but I absolutely love it. Some controls are poorly laid out and not real convenient but the picture quality and other features far outweigh this small nuisance. I still rate it 5stars!

I love this Panasonic camcorder. It is great that you can take photos while you are recording! It is an awesome feature. You just need to be sure to hold the camera very still when you are taking the picture. And they come out great! I print them and am surprised how well it works. You can even use ‘burst’ mode. This is where the camcorder will take a series of photos in succession. For example, if you are waiting for someone to shoot a basketball, you can use the burst feature to keep snapping photos so that you won’t miss the shot.

I have done a lot of research on camcorders and I was a Sony brand person. My pc is a Sony Vaio, all electtonics I have are Sony except the televsions. However I wasn't impressed with the Sony cams. I wanted the most optical zoom I could get for my money and Sony didn't have it. Thus Panasonic came into play. I am just elated about this camcorder. The optical zoom is what you need to focus on excuse the pun. The digital zoom is like not what gives the best pictures it is the optical zoom. Check out some information on the internet about optical zoom and you will see what I mean. I got this for my sons football games for recording it is excellent. With a memory card it also takes pics. But of course I believe in getting a digital camera if you want better quality pics. But for a quick pic it is great. The camcorder is so good I recorded a boat on Lake Erie by a plant that had capsized is owner and was being banged up against the rocks the pictures where so great my footage aired on local news station. I am sold on Panasonic. Go in the stores touch it fell it. It has a quick start recording and it is user friendly. I can't say any more that EXCELLENT!

This camcorder is very compact, but still enough weight to hold steady. I like the simplicity of the menu and layout, while keeping nice features like a microphone input, usb/firewire, and built in light. It should be noted however that the light in not very powerful. No hotshoe, or shoe of any kind so you have to get creative with your miking and lighting but for the price you can't beat this camcorder.

This is a great camcorder. I am impressed with the quality and richness of the colors. The colors look just like they should be outdoors-pretty much EXACT. It has a great design, and has all the features, including a MICROPHONE INPUT!!! Most camcorders now don't have those, except for expensive models. Overall this is an awesome camcorder and being honest I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality camcorders with sharp, rich colors.

What I like about this product is that it's a camcorder and digital camera!
It's light and fit in my hand. It's easy to operate and easy to hook up to my computer. I can record and take pictures at the same time. I recommend this product as a great gift for anyone.

I decide to buy the digital camera coz i wanted a new much performant one.I couldn't resist to not buy it at such an amazing price.Was new in a box and with all it needed;it works just perfect and such a clear zoom!!
