Panasonic Palmcorder Multicam PV-GS19

Its small, easy to use, and quality of video is awesome for the price. Still shots are alright, and good be better, but I didn't buy it for that reason. I would recommend this camera for a good quality inexpensive alternative to other cameras. 24x zoom is awesome!

I bought this palmcorder ´cause I needed and exact second one for my 3D experiments, and so far it´s proved to be a very good camera, and I love the fact that it has a 24x optical zoom range which is a very big plus.The camera-recorder still let´s you take some average quality footage if you are not that serious about quality and being in mini DV format, you can easily transfer the video to a PC for further post production. I love shooting video as a hobby, so my needs are not demanding.
On the cons side, being a fairly inexpensive camera, it lacks a microphone input jack and no external light source or good sensitivity to low light conditions, so don´t expect good quality video or performance in low-light situations.

I didn't buy this item...the seller didn't have any accsecories snd I couldn't find maching ones....also it would and up being more expencive...so I bouth the VHS camcorder from other seller

This camera is good only for people who will shot in DAYLIGHT or in very bright indoor environnement. I had a Canon ZR70 that I had to replace because it died! And I find the ergonomics of this Panasonic not very good.

And "night" mode is not very good, like 2 frame/sec. which gives only a very blurry video not quite usable.

For the rest, this camcorder works! I would not buy that camera knowing is limitations.
