Panasonic Palmcorder Multicam PV-GS150

For those who need a near-pro camera at a relatively inexpensive price, this is it. Crystal clear imagery, great viewfinder, and a plethora of generic batteries available on the market make this a winner. Although the toggle/menu function may grow a bit tiresome, once your settings are programmed, you're good to go. Smallest 3 ccd camera on the market. Good things come in small packages!

this camera is great for the everyday person it has all the functions you will ever need. the camera itself is very easy to use and all buttons are easy accesible,the digtal camera takes great pictures and battery life is good as well. i stronly advise people to purchase this camera if your just an average guy with limited funds.

I think a properly functioning GS150 is a great camera for the current prices. With a couple of years experience using a very satisfactory GS19 single CCD MiniDV camcorder I find this GS150 to provide much better shadow detail and color in all light conditions. My incentive in upgrading was to obtain the external microphone feature but the normal operations have proven to be reason enough. The only downside I have read about but not experienced is the prohibitive cost of obtaining factory service should it become necessary. But at these auction prices I would elect to just buy another operational camera through eBay.

Let's start with the fact that the owner's manual is confusing and poorly written. Then, I dropped the camera a foot or so onto a soft surface. When I went to use it, again, the focus won't hold any longer. In either manual mode or "auto-focus" it drifts in and out of focus. Touching the zoom toggle doesn't help, either. Panasonic charges $261 for any repairs that are needed beyond the first year of purchase, so I now own a very expensive payback device with tons of extras! ... Oh, and this "3CCD" thing is marketing hype! I used a previous Panasonic model with only ONE CCD and the color was MUCH better than on this camcorder. These CCDs are about the size of grains of sand, so the number is irrevelant. It doesn't capture better color than a single CCD - it's like breaking a plate in to pieces and claiming that there's more dinnerware, now. It's deceitful and poor quality equipment.

IT IS EVERTHING YOU DESCRIBE. I LOVE IT AND ALL THE EXTRA IT WHAT I HAVE BEING LOOK FOR THE PICTURES WOW. TO HAVE A CAMCORDER AND A CAMERA WITH A FLASH IS OUTSTANDING I CAN'T WAIT TILL THE FAMILY EVENT.

I received the item that was listed. I opened the box and was very unpleasantly surprised when several cockroaches came from the camera and into my kitchen! I sent this item back IMMEDIATELY and asked for a refund and the seller refused

After a week of purchasing my camera stop working. You can imagine how I feel. I wrote back to the seller and he said that there is a 3-day return policy, and obviously I was out of the 3-day return policy. How it happened? I tried to use it and it was weird at first, acting up, turning off by it-self. And one day, I plugged the charger with the battery into the outlet and once it was fully charged, I attached it to the camera and like if it didn’t have any battery it didn’t turn on. I tried charging it again, and I tried other batteries and nothing happened. Like if it didn’t have any battery at all. I feel upset, because my money went to the trash.
