    Like most LCD projectors, the money is in the bulb. Don't leave the unit on for long periods of time, especially if you are not using it. Keep the cooling air fan filter clean, so it doesn't overheat. Be fairly gently with the unit and it will serve you a long time. When it comes time to replace the bulb, be prepared for sticker shock. Don't be surprised if the bulb doesn't cost about half the cost of the unit itself. Prices do vary though.
