Panasonic MC-CG467 Canister Cleaner

I have been researching vacuums and wanted one with certain features that would not cost an arm and a leg. The Panasonic MC-CG467 has really fit the bill. My criteria was a canister, one that would blow air out the back so as not to spread the dirt around on my hard wood floors, swivel hose, compact and a floor tool that would slide underneath furniture.
The only thing that I have found wrong with it, is that the hose is kinda flimsy, so sometimes it kinks up. Although it really is not much of a problem.
I was very surprised, with it being so compact, that the vacuum bag can really hold a lot of dirt.
I also bought it on ebay because it was quite a bit less than ordering from a regular store.
I would also suggest NOT to buy the vacuum bags on ebay, I found them cheaper elsewhere.
It is also cute, light weight and does not take up much room.

First, I found the bags difficult to purchase. Not too many places carry them. I ended up ordering some from the UK! Additionally the bags are pretty tiny so with our bird rescue at home, we were replacing the bags each time we vacuumed. The "power mate" head was not powerful at all! In fact, it is suction driven and we found that they "suction hole" got easily clogged and then the brush would stop turning. Or, if you pressed down to hard or had too thick of a pile it would also stop turning. The little light that lets you know when your bag is full doesn't go on until your vacuum stops sucking so I think you can figure that out without the light. It was, however, very light weight, had a nice stand for the wand and brush head when not in use for better storage and so that the wand would stand up for you, and it was easy to move around. It just wasn't all we thought it would be and if you have lighter duties (non-bird rescue, bird seed pick-up), you may get away with this vacuum. Just don't expect much in the way of power. Oh, and as far as the ability to go from carpet to floor with ease - not so great in our book. It just wedged the seed up against the carpet / rug edges and didn't actually suck it up well unless you set the brush right on top of it and wiggled it around a bit. Also, the "adjustment" for floor and carpet and pile were on the brush head and could not be switched with the foot. You have to lift it up to you or bend down to adjust between floor and carpet (just a matter of if the brush rotates or not). I ended up returning mine as it did not suite our needs. But again, would probably be fine for an average apartment.

Awesome on tile & wood floors, not so much on carpet, very light weight I love it!!!! easy to get under beds, around tables under other furniture. Great for vehicles.?Easy storage. I decided to buy the canister because a upwright is to heavy for me, I have back problems so I decided to try a canister vacuum and I am so glad I did because it is easier for me to vacuum the floors now the only thing I don't like about this vacuum is it does'nt vacuum carpets to well, I don't know if it's just the carpets I have which is area carpets, I did try each setting that this vacuum has but it's awesome on tile and wood floors great suction. I'm very happy with this canister vauum!!!
