Panasonic ZS3 Camera - a Very Good Buy

I purchased this camera for my wife, and her main requirements were that it was easy to use but yet took quality photos and had a huge zoom. She also wanted to point and shoot the camera without looking in a manual to figure out how to turn it on.
Originally we had been focusing on the ZS1, but this model has a larger LCD screen (3") and records in HD. That's been an added bonus, along with being able to use the 12X zoom while recording video. The camera also has a stability feature to help eliminate blurry photos from a shaky hand. (that would be me)
We haven't used it alot, but are very pleased. A suggestion... Be sure to pick up a memory card right away. The internal memory disappears quickly, especially if recording videos in HD and/or having the photo setting on the highest resolution.
We live on a farm and have a deer who's "adopted" us, showing off her fawns every spring for the past 3 years. With this camera we can sit on our deck, zoom in, and count the little one's eye lashes and she doesn't even know it.
