Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS1-K 10.1 Megapixel

hi do you sell cameras? because i need a new one because my old one is broken. i hope you have a good summer.

What I like about the camera: picture clarity, capture of colors in low light, nice zoom, and its use of standard external memory. Allows for minimal cost for upgrading to larger memory and more pictures. Reasonably easy to change settings on the camera, including pixels, ISO setting, and going from picture to movie setting.

What I dislike about the camera: use of a proprietary battery, so far does not last as long as I would like fully charged.

I purchased based on its good rating on Consumer bulletin boards and features for the price. Those same magazines described the company as reasonably above average in terms of number of mechanical issues. I wanted a camera that was easy to use, with goof low light and zoom capabilities.

Overall, a very nice package for the price. I would buy a similar model in the future. I had a previous model stolen from a bag during travel. So it is a popular model. The second camera matches the first one in quality.

I already scanned 800 slides. It easy to use and fast. The only problem so far is the spring that hold the tray in position is already gone.

What is the Panasonic DMC-ZS1? It's a very good lenses, incredible optical stabilization, large zoom, natural colors and high quality aluminium body.

I didn't have a lot of experience with "soap" cameras, till this moment i have worked only with semi-professional 35mm film and digital cameras like Nikon D200, 300, D3, Sigma SD14 and more, but this panasonic is a new generation of small digital cameras. It has very good quality of pictures (I really was surprised) and now it's always in my photo backpack.

The zoom is incredible. It is extremely impressive that the zoom increases if you're willing to decrease the megapixels. So, this camera actually zooms greater than the 10X rating. For the money, it's tough to beat. Haven't found anything I dislike about the camera.

I wanted to use it's 12 x capability. Description of the camera suits my taste and I am not disapointed. This is real good camera.

My only problem is that the battery is quite expensive. I wonder if I can buy a cheap substitute from ebay.

I have owned several Panasonic cameras and have never been disappointed. This little camera is no exception. I would have preferred AA battery power rather the rechargeable battery just for the ease and speed of always having a camera ready to use, but it's not such a drawback when you consider what this camera delivers in such a small package. I bought this primarily for my wife, but I find myself using it on trips when we need a camera rather than tote along my Panasonic FZ28 or Sony A300. So far, as an amateur photographer, I'm very happy with this big function, point and shoot, fit in your pocket little gem. Of all of the 10x to 12x zoom Panasonic point and shoots, this seems to be the best priced bargain.
