Image stabilization allows great pics indoors in moderate light or outdoors with long zoom. Really like the wide angle (28mm) capability.
Decent quality digital movie moda as well.
Mostly metal body gives a solid well constructed feel in a megazoom that still fita in my pocket. - Very happy.

) I needed a small pocket camera, with 10X zoom, and a rechargeable battery. The Panasonic Lumix fit my needs. Until you see what 10X zoom looks like, you have no idea what you are missing in some of the shots you just can't get with 4X zoom. As a home inspector, it made a huge difference in the photos I could include in my reports.
