This replaced or 5.8 GHZ system. There is no longer any interference and the sound quality is crystal clear. It has some great features that are easy to use.
One really great feature is that the phone book not only has room for 50 entries, but it is shared between all phones. Put the number in one and it appears in all phones. Also, you can scroll through the list of incoming calls and save the ones you want to the phone book. (or select block instead!) It saves the name and number so you don't have to enter anything.
It was very easy to figure out how to use all the features. The joystick is very handy for navigating through menus. It's a lot like the menu system on cell phones with pictures.
The caller ID voice thing is rather amusing and entertaining the way it drones out the butchered pronunciation of names. One could turn it off, but it's useful as well as funny.
Friends with similar systems (by other companies) complain about the short battery life, but these last a long time.
