    I bought this phone because our family needed a new cordless, and we wanted interchangeable handsets with the main base and an auxiliary base in another room.

    We priced them, and won the eBay auction (including shipping) for about half of the retail cost. Great find!

    The great thing about this particular product is it has the dialing keypad on the main base (many models have speakerphone, but the keypad is only on the handset). The phone has all necessary bells and whistles, which are easy to use.

    My only disappointment is when I put the main phone base within a foot of my computer monitor, or talk on the handset while sitting at my computer I get feedback ... a maddening buzz that makes me want to scream. I believe this is because it's 2.4Ghz. So I walk away from my computer when I'm talking, usually.
