Panasonic KX-TGA570S 5.8 GHz 1-Line Cordless Expansion Handset

Works perfectly! My wife and I needed to get another phone in a room I'm using for an office. The intercom feature really helps!

This is the SECOND phone I have bought of this style.
They last long and are the very best phones I have ever owned.
They're great for call conferences . You don't need to hold phone next to your ear to hear the person you're speaking with.
Just put it down and you can hear the person on other end while you're in another room.
When I say these phones are excellent... I MEAN they're EXCELLENT!

Since I only buy Panasonic I might be a little bias. I have bought several different phones in the past and they always seem to end up in the garage sale for a quarter. This phone expansion handsets(I bought 2) allows me to have a phone in areas of the house without the need for an phone jack (you do need to buy the first set that comes with a base unit before you buy additional handsets). I was able place one next to my recliner and add one to my office. I already had one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom. Each phone can be labeled within the menu to name it, like office, bedroom, kitchen and so on. This comes in handy if you need to page someone in the house....you can page that phone through the use of the intercom feature ......It's like having your own set of walkie talkies. I always take a phone with me out to my workshop so my wife can stay in touch with me and since the range on these phones is pretty incredible, I can also answer the phone while out there.

Another feature I enjoy about this phone is the ring tones.....you can set up a different ring tone for different incoming numbers in your contact list so you know if a family member is calling and you can connect the phone to your computer and download your own tones......like the theme from the Good, the Bad and the Ugly for your Dad.

The speaker phone feature is a must have even if you don't buy this phone. If you're like me and seem like you're always on hold talking to tech support for your dell, it's nice to be able to turn on the speaker phone and do something else while you're waiting.

I bought the Pansonic KX-TGA570 two mnoths ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on it. it was easy to use. What i would like say was that i was tired of scrachie phone call now every thing is nice and clear. Highly recomemded
