I have had phones for a little bit. The handsets work for only 3 or 4 hours then you have to take battery out and put it back in so it can locate the base. Then you have to reprogram the phone. The base works great. I needed a phone with 3 lines and you can only get one with 4. I needed this for the office asap. This was the only one for a good price. I guess I made the wrong choice. So I have bought other handsets.

new panasonic 4 line cordless business phones 5.8 ghz
) nice upgrade to the older 2.4 ghz generation phones. still the best small business solution for flexibility, ease of use and installation. biggest upgrade is all cordless units now are self standing and have speakerphone function built in eliminating the need to have the corded/cordless unit. batteries are now simpler to install/replace and probably cheaper too. sound quality appears about the same. prices on the older units have dropped so good deals are to be had.
