Panasonic KX-TG6700B 5.8 GHz 2-Line Cordless Phone

This phone is great for a home / home office. It is expandable up to 8 handsets, so it allows you to place a phone in almost every room. It is stylish and has all the necessary features: CID, Answering Machine (both lines) Memory, etc... The handset hands free feature works really well and is very clear for all parties. The range is very good! I have owned many Panasonic phones, and have used them to death. They have held up to much abuse. I am a klutz and drop phones constantly. I have not been able to test the battery capacity yet, but so far it appears to be very good. It is very difficult to find 2 line phones without spending a fortune, and this phone is very reasonably priced. I definitely recommend this phone.

Phone is great many features. Has many features similare to a cell phone. Compared to buying the phone at a store, I paid half price and purchased a referbished one on ebay. It still works great.

I enjoyed the original unit so much that I purchased additional cordless handsets to expand the system.

Crystal clear sound quality, 2-line connectivity with speakerphone, and up to 60-minutes of message space over the two lines--who could ask for anything more.

Easy to use, functions as it should. Love the two line interface, the ability to conference, hold , etc. Easy setup and getting started. Does not take a rocket scientest to run this phone, on the other hand, I did not feel insulted that they thought I was too stupid to get to the important things for me. All it all this is a great little phone for the price. The size for the phone is small, so it is light, and has a head set jack. I love the speakerphone on the hand set and the base... It allows me to talk to people on speaker even if I am not at my desk. Also allows me to make those important calls even If I have had someone steal my hand set! No compalints so far.

i decided to buy the panasonic kx-tg6700B due to the reviews on this phone.After experiencing this phone i would recommed it to all.Has good reception,clarity with no interference with my routers.Batery life i guess is
average comparing to my v-tech and uniden.

I need two line phone for that house, Panasonic is the best brand on cordless phone, but I do not want to pay Brand new expensive one, so I shop ebay to get an good use one for half price of a new one. It come with 2 extra handset.

Replaces an old phone we used in our business. Does a great job and looks better, with better reception. The old phone base was corded, with the new base being a cordless we have much more flexibility.

These phones are horrible. They probably shouldn't of asked me to write a review unfortunately. I know it was not the sellers fault, I've always trusted Panasonic and I know the phones I bought are not "defective". To start, the battery life is much less then you would think, about 3 hours talk time and only 8 hours standby. Gone are the days of leaving the phone off the hook during the day and letting it recharge at night. Gone are the nights of talking all night with your friend and hoping the battery lasts.

Second is the range, honestly my old 800mhz and 2.4ghz phones from Radio Shack have nearly 3 times the range. If losing the antenna reduced the range by this much, then Panasonic, PLEASE put an antenna back on these phones!

Third is obvious features in other very basic phones. You cannot initiate a conference call from the base, you cannot page other handsets from the base. This can only be done from the other handset.

There are some other things but I'm too upset to remember them right now.
Bottom Line: Avoid these phones, they are not worth the price in the least. It's nice to have 2 lines in one phone, and 2 phones for one base, but $14 phones from Wal-Mart work better. Just buy 2 of them one for each line and spend $28. You'll be better off.

This is a great phone set up. We bought 8 phones with the base station and a installed them throughout our home, even outside. I didn't have to run miles of wire to add more phones, just plugged the base into an existing phone line, charged the batteries, programmed each phone and everything worked the first time and everytime since. I don't have to run all over the property looking for my wife when the phone rings. She has a phone at her finger tips where ever she is.

I own 2 of these phones and cannot say enough good about them.
Loaded with features and great battery/distance from base.

PERFECT FOR OUR NEEDS AS WE NEED A 2-LINE PHONE. WE DIDN'T NEED THE ANSWERING MACHINE BEING WE HAVE THAT SERVICE FROM OUR PROVIDER

Really like the phone. We have 3 others like it and needed an extra one. It arrived in a timely manner and it was a pleasure doing business with you.

Super phone. Have an earliuer model of the same phone and it has definitely been improved. Battery lasts. Easy to hold. Large display. Only problem is the instructions are not exactly clear. Haven't figured out the answering service feature yet, but I have another one and don't really need it.

Over priced. Will you buy it back for $30 w/free shipping?...........................................

It is necessary to read the manual to set up the telephone.
After that it is working perfectly. A very good item. Highly recommended.

This 2-line cordless phone system includes an answering machine. There is a speakerphone feature on both the base unit and handsets. Call quality is very clear and distinct. I have not tested the distance range of the unit. The unit is also very compact in size, but if you don't like small keys on a base unit, this type of phone may not be to your liking. You can choose from 7 different ring tones. There is a connector jack for a headphone. The unit's line indicator feature will light up when a given line is in use by another phone connected to the same line. This allows a caller on this phone system to know beforehand if a line is already in use. You can add up to 8 separate handsets to the base unit. The handset is much lighter than the unit that I replaced it with. If you are looking for a 2-line phone system, this is a good choice.

One of the few 2-line multi-handset systems available and as with most higher end Panasonic equipment, well built. The one thing not covered in the manual is that the higher the base unit is elevated, the better it works.

The only thing missing is the lack of a belt clip or available carrying case.

Of all the phones that I researched, this one had the features that I wanted...plus, I am replacing a single line Panasonic phone with this 2-line phone. Great features, especially hold button and intercom among the 7 handsets.

I have owned many cordless phones over the years and this one is the best by far - great range, crystal clear, private calls. A must-own two line, multi-ohone system. Only downside is it can be pricey - but with cordless phones you get what you pay for.
