Panasonic DVD-LS91 9 in. Portable DVD Player

I liked the 9 inch screen size and the Panasonic name. Product received good ratings and the price was right for a new product. I like adding the powered speakers which enhance the sound quality for cd and dvd.

I can't say from experience yet, about how I like it, or dislike it, but thought that some of my homework could help others decide. I went to consumer reports to find out which dvd player was rate the best, and this one is the one that they claimed was the best, that is why i'm going to purchase it as soon as I can. Plus it was nice to see other reviews that just confirmed what consumer reports said. I know this is probably a very good dvd player. Consumer reports also said that you could pay $290.00 for it.

I chose the item from reviews and visiting local stores. After reviewing prices I checked the item by model number on ebay. The savings were over $90
including shipping on ebay. I have used this same method on the last 3 items purchased and saved 30% to 50% on each item.

Has worked great with all types of dvds including recorded dvd ram disc. Plays korean dvds like a charm.

I purchased this portable DVD player for a road trip with my daughter. It performed just great and the sound quality was very good for a portable. I was attracted to this product because it had the best reviews of the posted players and the price was very reasonable. I am very satisfied with the product.

It's stylist. Long hour battery. The speaker is great, it's like the sound on the big TV. Great picture quality.

I standardized on Panasonic for portable DVD players after previously having good luck renting them from inmotionpictures.com. They are not perfect as this is now #3 unit, in 4 years. The first one acquired "H03" syndrome (an error code), basically means the reader head can't read the disk (but the syndrom is that the disk is actually fine). This was not an LS91 that failed.

All the Panasonic players models I have had have a display hinge which articulates in 2 places. This is a downfall as #2 (LS90 I think) failed due to this. I wouldn't place all blame on Pana, as the prime user is a 12 year old boy.

So we are on #3, a used LS91. The LS91 has great battery life. If you get a used one, you might need to buy it a new battery, FYI.

I received it today, tried it right out of the box. Great size 9" very nice pic and sound. I would recommend this one highly!! I love this product! Buy it an so will you!

I got the item for my niece. She is pretty love it because of the screen (9 inch is good for her to watch). The pictures is clear and sharp. The size and weigh are convinence (she is 9 yrs old). It is also fast shipping. thanks you very much.

I bought it to replace our old one. These are great for car trips.
The picture is great and the battery holds it's charge well.

Bought this to replace my son's DVD that was accidently broken. He wanted a player that would support the extra batteries that he had already purchased. This fit the specifications. Works Great!

Panasonic is a good brand to begin with. The product is a little pricey compare to others in the market. I has good features but on thing I would like to see on it is the capability of having 360 degree turn on the monitor. It can move up, down and turn over flat but not side to side.

This DVD player becomes my favorite player now. I use it to watch DVD every night before going to bed. Even though it's a used one, but quality and condition are still very good. Thanks!

I love the audio, and it really is like sitting in a theater while wearing good quality headphones. The adjustable screen is real nice. It has the largest screen that I have found in a portable player. I like the extra headphone jack so that one more person can listen. If I have to I can use it as a DVD player because of the remote control and the video connections provided.

Great DVD player, works great and picture is very clear. The controls are very straight forward and easy to use. I thought this would be a good thing to have for trips especially on air planes. Also to review digital pictures.
