    I loved this product! It allows me to take my old vhs movies that I love too much to throw away and simply transfer them to DVD! This product is so user friendly. Anyone can you use it! It gets *****5 Stars from me!=)

    This is a great unit for recording VHS tapes to DVD. The quality and versatility of the playback is excellent and it's ready for HD TV. The Panasonic DMR-ES45VS and the DMR-ES46VS are identical- they even come with the same manual. The only difference is the DMR-ES46VS was made to sell at COSTCO.
    Ignore the low rating by Scott3291- he was actually providing negative feedback about a seller who apparently wouldn't supply feedback for a transaction- it shouldn't be included as a product review.
