sound quality is clear, screen is clear... much better than my old treo 650.. had lots of problems with that one.
i especially love the text feature... when you text someone and they text back it displays the conversation between you as a chat. displays your message and theirs in the same window unlike other verizon (or other carrier) phones. i love having a schedule in my pocket at all times and i stay organized and on top of things always! totally buy this phone.. dont even think twice about it!

Everything about the phone is great. It's very fast (unlike windows mobile, blegh). Reception is great, the full size SD card slot is awesome for storage, it's very fast on the internet, lots of apps available for it.

Palm Treo 700p (Verizon) --Great Phone!

First off, this is a great phone for the first time Smart phone user. I am using this is a first time Smart phone user, and the PALM OS is easy to use. Now, many program are still on the web to download for the phone to make it customizable for each person using it. However, one downside of the PALM OS is they haven't updated it in close to two years, I have noticed more software developers are choosing to create programs for Windows Mobile.

Now for the phone it self, I love it how TXT messages are in Instant Message format for display, which is awesome! (This is similar to what the iphone does). Also, the phone had no problems syncing with my Microsoft Office 2007 (if you have 2007, you MUST download the update to the phone to sync properly.) Also, the phone comes with ptunes, which you can play all your MP3's. I also recommend download TCOMP, which plays more file formats and video formats! Also, the Pictures and Videos program is easy to use and will display all your pictures you take with the camera AND/OR pictures you load onto the phone via bluetooth or SD Card. I also love it that you can load Opera Mini 4.0 web browser on to this so you can view FULL web pages (Data plan must be included to do this).

Downsides...on the bigger side, but actually better then what I thought when I purchased the phone. Also, I highly recommend getting a SD card to maximize your memory. The phone comes with 64mb, but if you do more pictures and video and music, an SD card is a MUST! Also, to load Opera Mini and other Java applications, you must download Java for Palm. Palm recently stopped offering this through there own website, however you can download it at other places on the web. Other downside is not the Treo 700p, but Verizon....Data plans are too expensive! As of April of 2008, 25.00 bucks for 10mb and unlimited for 45 bucks! If you don't want to spend it, put a data block on the phone so you don't accidentally use data. It adds up!

Overall, I like it and would recommend people using it. I wish more applications that are created would be out for it and data plans would come down in price. However, it works great and syncs great with my computer!

Mobile Computing Still Can't Fit In Your Palm
Review created: 03/28/08(updated 03/28/08)

The Palm Treo 700p gives end users a distinct glimpse into the future of Mobile Computing via your phone. With the ability to sync wirelessly, apps on the fly the Treo makes a commendable stab at standing out from the competition.

The downside however is its bulky size and some would argue the interaction with the stubby keyboard.

Aside from physical challenges the Treo will stand out on the books as a great step in the right direction. Of course in retrospec it will only be a matter of time before the PalmOS is replaced by a brighter, smoother Mobile environment.

This is another Great phone from Palm!
Review created: 03/24/08

This phone is another example of why palm is a leading phone brand. The phone works flawlessly and is combined with the reliable PALM based software. This phone is a MUST if you have a need for a PDA with phone capabilities. You can't go wrong with this phone. It has tons of Ram, a Camera(Videos too), and full QWERTY keyboard for quick and accurate emails/texting.
