Palm Treo 700wx

Welcome everyone to our first review here as we take a look at new Palm Treo 700wx – available now on the Sprint Network. Let’s begin with some background on magnastudio - I am a Power Seller, Educational Specialist and Trade Assistant on eBay and been on eBay since June 2003. I have taken a specialist interest in advancing technology since 1994 and dealing with it since as a technology consultant along with operating my own business. As we all know that we can take a look around today and notice the world is changing with technology leading the way.

Technology of the Phone Itself
This is Palm latest phone using the new Windows Mobile 5 Operating System as it is the same phone as Verizon’s Palm Treo 700w with more memory. The issue many Verizon’s Customer had with the phone is memory in which Palm answered the call before releasing it to Sprint as the Palm Treo 700wx. This phone does it all keep my appointments, tasks, messages and documents straights using Mobile Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint this is designed for business and actively syncs with your laptop or desktop computer with ease via USB or Bluetooth. The digital camera is decent but not the greatest and works well with the device if you have enough light. I do recommend getting a decent size Secure Digital (SD) Card for more memory; I have tested a 4GB SD Card on this device in which I bought off of eBay and works well. It has many other features as well that works well for people on the go but not everything is designed for the square screen.

Sprint Network Service – Voice and Data
Sprint’s Voice Network is only good if it works although their coverage map shows you may have good coverage the phone tells another story. If you are in a major metro city you should not have any problems with their voice network but the outer reaches of middle earth like where I am the signal is another concept despite what the coverage map says. I have experience, seen and heard about many other carriers Data Network with Sprint’s Data Network it is by far the best I have ever seen and heard about. That data network is worth the $25 a month charge for unlimited access in which you can connect it to a desktop or laptop to connect to the high speed data network they use.

Sprint Customer Service – On New Technology
Now Sprint together with Nextel is their saying when you call them but they remain two different companies with each of them unable to access accounts from the other area. When dealing with Nextel on advance technology they had no clue on their newest phone and services features they offered where on the other hand Sprint knew about their phones and services but Nextel tech support on coverage was far greater then Sprint.

Final Words on Sprint and the Palm Treo 700wx
I have had this phone for about a week and their data network has proven to me that this is the phone that best fits my needs despite the local voice network not working in which they are looking into since I work mainly in a major metro city the voice network is not a big deal to me since I spend more time in the city than at home. I do recommend this phone for those people on the go for any type of business to keep your appointments, tasks and other great features included with the phone where you can stay connected at all time but do not rely on Customer Service.
