Palm Treo 755P
Review created: 11/21/09(updated 11/22/09)
Pros: Reliable, great texting interface in chat-like format, decent signal strength, good battery life, v. good audio quality, well designed keyboard, has both buttons and touch-screen interface, OS has been very stable, many many apps available and for every conceivable purpose.
Cons: large and rather fat, marginal battery life when using web browser, obsolete web browser for which Palm maintains no recent updates (lacks java updated support, some graphics won't load, jams when loading larger web pages), touch screen fussy and easily false-triggers commands, external buttons placed on side/front too easily trigger commands by mistake, headphone socket odd size (useless for 1/8" i-pod type jack), not a true GPS capable phone, fussy to navigate, lags/stalls when changing between apps, Palm's product support is quite poor, 755P is getting outdated but still remains a good discount phone.
