Palm T

I used to have PPC PDAs but recently switched to Palms and now extremely happy=) Within two month I changed couple of them m500 -> m505 -> TT -> T3 (now) and can say that TT is very good device! Rock-solid metal case is awesome! (T3 has worth one) Many people do not like reflective screen - I loved it! It's never blind so you can save power on backlight. I had 1Gb SD card and tons of useful software and even could watch video with no problem. I upgraded to T3 only because of screen size (for video) and processor clock... but still remember my TT which is sweet PDA=)

This is a sleek device. Very small yet powerful and turns eyes when you slide it ope to it maximum size. My favorite feature is the recording one. I always record meetings and seminars. It can record for an hour without a memory card or for 6-8 hours with a 128mb card. The new tungsten E2 can't record anything! If you buy a Tunsten T you won't be sorry.

Even though it is an older model, it is still very functional. If you need something basic for a bargain price this PDA is just the thing. The calender, Microsoft software, notepad and voice recorder make this device perfect for on-the-go professions. Compact to fit in any pocket. A recurring problem I keep having is that I have to keep realigning the touch screen. Overall I recommend this product to anyone that needs to get organized and is on a budget. Very helpful for someone in the military, like me.

great for organizing your lifestyle. i wish it was blue tooth or wireless capable.. getting online would be great, but otherwise- this pda has more than enough features and downloads to get your life in order.

This was a good buy. The product showed up in good condition and it wasn't expensive. Upon arrival it worked well and had no problems.

I really like this palm. I had one of the older ones and this one is alot better and holds alot more info and is also able to access the web.

Love, size, useability, voice recording, slimline. Screen not as bright as Sony. Bought it because I had one before and loved it. Price right also. The digitizer gets out of synch on occasion. I found it to be a typical thing that no one seems to have the fix for, even Palm. Plenty of power, more than most people will ever use. Battery life is very good.

My old Palm had gooten sick, at first it just wouldn't communicate with my laptop and eventually it just gave out. My problem was that all of my customer, potential customers and contacts were in it. I was able to access the information from my laptop but it wasn't as easy. I had been looking to replace it for a few months and even borrowed a new version from a friend. I started looking on ebay and came across this unit form an individual not a store. I made the deal and received the unit fast. Once I installed the new software that came with it, it automatically transfered my information from the older version on my laptop to the new one. I have to say, it was the easiest installation I have ever done. You'd have to know how my luck has been with electronics lately... it worked immediately. I couldn't have been any more pleased. I ran around my office telling everyone I was back in business. This unit is easy to install, navigate and use. The rechargable battery is a great feature. I hated making sure I had AAA's in my car or in my desk. The new version for the computer access is a cool layout. It's simple to use and prints out good reports. If you don't need to wireless access of a PDA, you can't go wrong with this unit. You don't need to be an IT wizard to have a powerful tool like this. Highly reccommend for anyone needing portable access to contact information, appointment scheduling in a small but tough unit.

This has been my number one goto device for contacts and dates. No bugs. No resets. The Palm software on the desktop is genius. I've transferred data files through multiple computer upgrades. I've loved it.

Very reliable "workhorse" PDA. Mostly used as a checkbook, and work scheduler, it can also handle some good games, mp3 player software, and pictures. Good duribility. Survived one previous large drop and may minor ones with very little damage. I have left in the car in the dead of a New England Winter and at the hight of summer with no ill effect.

Only issue is it seems like every Tungsten with the sliding expansion suffers from the need to be re-digitized often.

This Palm is as good as any Palm I've ever used. It runs super-fast, smoothly, and is a joy to use. The slide-down part makes it more convenient to keep somewhere because it shrinks it down to a smaller size. I love my Palm. I have had absolutely no problems with it.

Tungsten T was shipped and delivered as expected. No problems with the unit. Item was packaged very securely and lived up to the advertising on EBAY.

Why? Because its very small, it can records voice memos, its made of a darker cooler metal casing, it feels very well made, it can handle 2 feet high drops! I dropped mine recently, from a chair to a granite parking lot, so it got a nick right in the center bottom and few scuffs along a corner, so what! It has character! I checked the time, kept on getting my things done!

The buttons are small and to the point, the edge styling with black plastic looks great matched with that graphite grey casing, I mentioned that already right? And that body look matches the cool screen which its best quality, the screen, you can read in the sun and if held at an angle, it unreadable by others so the screen has certain benefits over the TFT used on later Palms.

The OS is very much like the classic M500 series, but with added features here and there. I went back from a TX Palm to the older OS just because overall the T is really a focused PIM device for you to get things done without feeling cheap and plastically and feeling like a brick in your pocket or purse!

I am really enjoying this PDA. The screen is nice and sharp. The bluetooth works well to connect to my phone for Internet access. It also works well for syncing to my desktop.

I have not played with the voice recorder, but the mp3 player works well if you use a headset. The quality when you use the built-in speaker is OK for background music, but that is about all. You have to put the mp3 files on a SD card - you can not play them from memory.

The only thing you have to be careful of is that some of the earlier Palm software does not work with the new OS. If you can, stick with software written for version of the Palm software.

The device came in great condition with all as described but the device freezes and when you try to touch to go to the home screen with the pen sometimes you have to touch it mutiple times or it doesnt even work so it slows me down.

The Tungsten T is everything you want in a PDA. It is fast, easy to use and thanks to the sliding screen it is even a manageable size. With tons of accessories and programs available it is easy to customize to your needs. Add an sd or mmc card and download realplayer for palm and it is even a great MP3 player. Send text messages the easy way by writing them on your palm and then send them through a bluetooth enable phone. I have found that it is faster at startup and doesn't bog down as easily even as some of the much newer units. And finally it even has a mic and voice record function to leave yourself those important voice memos or record important messages.

My Tungsten arrived well packed and wrapped in plastic wrap. This was very nice as it was left on my front porch. It was protected against rain.

I decided to buy this because it is compatible with the software I use for insurance policy and loan applications that I sell.
I have not been able to register the unit with the manufacturer because the serial number is partially missing.

I am really enjoying the Tungsten T. It helps me keep my schedule under control, is easy to use and take with me.
