    Great for keeping notes & apptmts close at hand. The IR is a snap to use. Stylus entry is too slow but after purchasing a portable keyboard I would never want to be without this gadget. Very portable. While the Palm IIIc is one of the older Palm products it works quite well for my needs. Only problem was difficulty getting this item to do a proper hot synch. After downloading info from the Palm web site I was still unable to synch. I finally had to search for a program that would work & am not having any further difficulties. If you are looking for something with a lot of the newer bells and whistles go for the Tungsten or something newer. If, like me, you only need to use it for simple note taking this is the perfect tool.

    The Palm IIIc handheld from palm gives you outstanding organization at an affordable price. Take, for example, its bright, easy-to-read color screen. Or the wide range of organizational features - from contacts and calendar to memos and a note pad....You can find affordable parts to repair them anywhere....dollar for dollar this is Palm's best for the money and the long term...other cost an arm and leg to repair....or just end up in a junk pile..
