JOSEPH DAWLEY'S BOOK IS PACKED FULL OF INFORMATION THAT EVERY ARTIST NEEDS TO KNOW TO BE ABLE TO PAINT. HE ALWAYS BEGINS EACH PAINTING WITH A BLACK AND WHITE VALUE STUDY SO THE VALUES ARE PERFECT IN EVERY PAINTING. HE THEN GOES INTO DETAIL IN THE PAINTING OF HIS PICTURE FROM THE COLORS TO THE ACTUAL PAINTING. A REFERENCE BOOK THAT EVERY ARTIST SHOULD HAVE IN THEIR LIBRARY.
