Plaid, the manufacturer of painting, stenciling, and other decorative paint products, has created a showcase of projects for which their products can be used. The easy-to-follow, well-illustrated instructions start with general directions for each technique, such as sponging, block printing, and stenciling, and are followed by projects on which to use the techniques. Some of the projects have been created by well-known designers, including Jane Gauss, whose Stenciling Techniques (LJ 5/15/96) is one of the best books on the subject. A good book if another is needed on interior decorative paint techniques.
