Pagan Stone fizzles

I love Nora Roberts and her trilogies are usually great, but this one just fell flat for me; there was way too much speculation and theory posturing about what was had happening, what could happen and what was happening and then it all tried to pull together in very short order and in a rush. The characters were, as usual, very good but they didn't make up for the tedium. I usually could not put her books down; this time it just dragged on for over a week!
