Funny and helpful. Contains lots of concrete ideas for packrats. Busts all the myths we tell ourselves about how valuable all that stuff is or that we need it.

) What a great book! It is very informative -- yet it does more than inform. It motivates the reader and supplies practical reasons and plans for tackling even the biggest de-cluttering projects. It is very well written, using short sections rather than chapters, lists for clarity and quick review, highlighted boxes to display poignant points and cartoons to "lighten the load" as it's all presented. There's also an index for easy reference, which will undoubtedly be used again and again as one searches for the "gems of knowledge" they had seen revealed within. It's truly a wonderful book and I recommend it highly!

A must read for packrats or packrat wannabes!
) I haven't quite finished this book but I love anything by Don Aslett. His witty writing style with the use of plenty of alliteration is both entertaining and deadly serious. He can make you laugh one minute but bring you right back to reality the next minute telling you what can happen or how much having all this darn STUFF can cost you in either money, time, or just plain work! I've been a packrat all my life and highly recommend any and all of Don's wonderful books. I am hoping that soon I can say I'm a reformed packrat!
