Ps, I Love You by Cecelia Ahern (2004, Paperback, Reissue)

Loved it, love women Irish writers like Ahern and Binchy. A wonderful book about a young widow coping with life and possible love after the sudden death of her husband. He knew of his pending death, yet took the time to plan all letters and suprises, that she must open once a month. He knew her so well, that all the letters point to something in her life and gives her the courage to go on, find a new job and to socialize again. Wonderful read!

This book is very good. It's well written. The author is only 23 years old! The story makes you laugh & it makes you cry. It's a must read. Can't wait to see the movie starring Gerard Butler as Gerry!

I really enjoyed this book. It was funny and an easy read. Shows you that life goes on. A friend suggested it so I bought and I am glad I did.

Ok this book was sooooooo much better than the movie. I have to say that the first time I saw the movie I balled hysterically ( I think I might have worried my husband a little), so I decided to get this book because I Loved this movie. The book was filled with so much character, there are so many differences from the movie that I wasn't sure how this book would end I couldn't believe the author was 21 when she wrote this book. I am not lying when I say that every single time I picked this book up i cried, I fell more in Love with Gerry and Holly and fell in love with Holly's family and friend while reading this book. This is a wonderful book you won't forget and shouldn't be forgotten!

I loved this movie so I decided to read the book. Movie is different in a lot of ways, and actually touched me more. However, I still loved the book and was able to read all 470 pages in 1.5 days. It was a wonderful rainy weekend companion. Well written and touching.

Read this before you see the movie. The movie pales by comparison. The characters are more
fully explored. As much as I loved the movie, the book moved me more and gave my imagination
places to go and make pictures that can't be put up on a screen.The movie couldn't possibly do it justice in an hour and change. I thoroughly enjoyed both but as is the usual, I enjoyed the book more. READ IT

The idea for the book is good. The writing itself is drawn out and the storyline is immature. The ending is tacky. Hopefully the author will improve but this is sad waste of a great idea.

I bought it for my book club. i like gently used books because they are more bendable. It shipped fast. The book was great, way better than the movie.

I found the storyline very moving. The pages seemed to fly by.The characters pulled you into the story and carried you along with them for the entire book. I deciced to purchase the book because I watched and loved the movie.I recommend both the book and movie!
