this is one of those movies were you yell at the t.v.. lol i did. it wasn't really scary but very weird. it keeps your attention and has good acting and special effects. the story was good to, although i think it could have been better. it's basically about a girl who was being stalked and her stalker is obssesed with her. it's a good thriller. i recommend it!

A great leading role for Rachel Nichols. I'm not really a "scary movie" fan, but I was glued to this one. The whole movie takes place in a parking garage of a corporate office building...which could have been really boring. But this movie really keeps your attention. And the leading lady doesn't play the stereotypical scary movie blonde...she is smart & sexy. The perpertrator is the security guard and he is deviant. Great movie!

P2-A New Level of Terror (2008, DVD)

Most people who have been alone in a parking garage have probably felt vulnerable to an attacker amidst the silence of the cold concrete walls, but what would you do if your assailant were the attendant? That's the question posed by P2, which fits into that sub-genre of thrillers that unfold in one primary location (think Mario Bava's KIDNAPPED, PHONE BOOTH, or WIND CHILL). The script, co-written by Alexandre Aja (THE HILLS HAVE EYES, HIGH TENSION), Franck Khalfoun, and Gregory Levasseur, offers a basic cat-and-mouse tale with a couple of jolts of bone-rattling gore. It's Christmas Eve, and young New York executive Angela (Rachel Nichols) is the last to leave her office before heading to New Jersey for a holiday with the family. Already late, she is dismayed to find that her car won't start. The handsome, seemingly helpful garage attendant, Thomas (Wes Bentley), checks out the car for her, but to no avail. The next thing she knows, Angela wakes up in the garage office in a dress, chained to a chair, with a Christmas dinner laid out before her. Thomas has been watching her for a long time, and with everyone else gone for Christmas, he finally has her alone. Angela will have to fight with everything she has to make it through to Christmas morning. Under the first-time direction of co-screenwriter Khalfoun, P2 is a solid thriller that delivers ample action, despite being an amped-up two-person stage play. Nichols is an appealing heroine in a physically demanding role, while Bentley's wacko Thomas never veers into cartoonishness. This isn't one for the SAW crowd, though the two brief moments of splatter are certainly of that gross-out caliber. Vintage Christmas songs are also used to strong effect.

Point blank, this movie is simply okay, at most 3 stars out of 5. An almost 2-hour film about a chick getting kidnapped in her company parking garage by a psycho stalker parking attendant can only hold my attention but for so long if there is not much supporting the plot.

There are really no strong parts to this movie, but I will say it has a unique story - I don't think I have ever seen an entire movie based in a parking garage. The bloody/gore scenes are decent and the acting is satisfactory despite a not-so-great concept and possibly script.

This movie WILL have you talking at the screen at times (run! dont look back!, etc), I believe any horror/thriller film should have this effect on its audience and you may even jump from the unexpected at other times and I the ending could be better.

Dont buy this movie if you expect a bunch of special effects, i.e. heads or other body parts being chopped off, or anything equivalent, this is one of those chase and run films for the most part. There is in fact one gruesome scene in this movie that probably will get praise from you gore fans.

When I heard this was a British Film I didn't know what to expect. The original suspense and imaginative plot of this movie is above average. A very good rental or purchase if you love the suspenseful type movies.

4 out of 5

I didn't expect to much from this movie with a strange title and not much star power, but it was very good, I havent seen a movie with that intensity in a while. I would recommend this title to anyone who love horror suspense movies.

I WENT TO THE HOLLYWOOD VIDEO STORE. THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE MOVIE SO I WENT TO TARGET INSTEAD SINCE I ALSO GOT A REMAINDER GIFT CARD BALANCE OF $20.00, I PURCHASED THE MOVIE FOR $17.99 PLUS TAX. LATER ON I WENT HOME AND SAW THE MOVIE AND I WAS GLAD I BOUGHT IT. IT'S WORTH THE PURCHASE TO WATCH AND OWN FOR MY COLLECTION. TOO BAD IT WASN'T ON BLU-RAY, IT WOULD OF BEEN BETTER. FOR THOSE THAT DIDN'T SEE IT CHECK IT OUT.
