If you like Jo-Ann Mapson fiction this book is for you. Jo-Ann Mapson has the ability to put the reader in the big picture -- her descriptions of Northern California are so vivid they evoke the actual scene, making you feel like you are there. In this book she has written about a new family of strong women and their trials and tribulations with health, money and men but there are ties to her other Bad Girl Creek series with some of the characters from those books appearing in this book which is a plus. Hopefully there were be a continuation of this family in some new books......another Mapson to look forward to. A quick pleasant read!
