From its sound to its neon cover art to song titles like "Endless Armageddon" and "The Lord of the Wasteland," AN OVERDOSE OF DEATH has the 1980s written all over it. Like original pioneers Venom and Bathory, Toxic Holocaust looks toward raw punk for inspiration, and the ripping riffs and acid-burned vocals on relentless songs like "Gravelord" and "War Game" are all rough edges, splintered ends, and unstoppable forward motion. The end of civilization never rocked so hard.
