Overcoming Dyslexia by Sally Shaywitz M.D. (2003, Hardcover, Illustrated)

I purchased this book because I have a child with some learning difficulties. Upon finally taking things into my own hands, I found a psychologist that has tested my son and suggested this book. I have not read the whole thing as of yet, but from what I have read, it is an excellent book. It hits the nail on the head, because I can totally relate to the author's stories with my own son.

It is an excellent book at a great price. I bought it because I am a reading specialist who deals with students who have dyslexia.

This book is fabulous. It gives such clear information about dyslexia. It outlines early signs, evaluations and strategies for teaching a dyslexics. Parents of dyslexic children should read this book.
