this movie is about a poor carpenter works on this rich ladies boat, and she dosdnt pay him because she dislikes what he has done to her closit, that night she falls of the boat and gets amneshia, the carpenter claims her as his wife so she can do work for him, a few months later she remembers everything and goes back to her boat but realizes she loves him

This is one of my all time favorite movies. It's funny, slapstick funny at times it's a love story but not so much that the kids can't watch it. It is really good family fun, or a watch by yourself feel good feel good movie. Visiting family a few months ago this movie came up and both my father (in his 70's) and my brother both agreed that it was a favorite of theirs as well! You won't be disappointed!

Very funny and cute movie, excellent acting and heartwarming story line. I decided to buy it because I saw a part of it on tv and wanted to watch the whole thing so I bought the dvd. And I love it!!

I always loved this movie when I was younger and I decided to buy it after I saw it on tv again recently. My husband always says if I wasn't so sweet I would definitely be just like Goldie Hawns Character. I recommend this to anyone who wants a cute, fun, comedy!

I bought this movie because I recently attended a concert by The Wright Brothers Band, and they mentioned they had a part in this movie. They were the band playing in the bar where Kurt took Goldie for her birthday dinner. This group has been together for 36 years, are from Central Indiana, and are well-loved around here and on the road. I remembered having seen the movie in the late 1980's after it's release, but forgot much of the story line. I really thought it was hilarious this second viewing, and offered some good thoughts about relationships and what's important in life. It's one of Goldie's best roles in my book.............put the youngsters to bed and enjoy a good movie!

This is a great family movie! My daughters watched it and now my granddaughter will watch it...and I still like to watch it! It's a great show I'll never get tired of.

i like this dvd movie because it's fun and also i am goldy's fan. I saw it once when i was 10 years old, since then i couldn't find it anywhere so i checked on ebay and when i found it i bought it right away!

I just love this movie! I don't really know what it is, but it is still one of my all time favorite movies! I can watch it over and over and never get tired of it! Its such a cute movie. It's funny, and also has romance and real life issues mixed up in it. Very cute!! If you haven't seen it you have to watch it at least once! :)

I purchased this DVD for my wife, to replace her old copy. What's not to like about this movie? It has long been one of our favorites -- yes, I enjoy watching it, too! We enjoyed this movie very much. It was funny and sweet. Perfect girly movie! I wouldn't recommend it for kids under 13 it has some adult humor.

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are marvelous in "Overboard." She plays the rich bitch to the hilt, and I burst out laughing several times during the tirade that she provides while he is trying to please her unsuccessfully with his carpentry skills.

Then the situation reverses itself when she loses her memory when falling overboard the tremendous yacht that you think is owned by her husband. Kurt Russell is just as funny as he claims that Goldie is the mother of his rowdy children and caretaker of the raunchy home where he lives. It is hilarious!

This is a movie that is fine for all ages. You will forget all your troubles and go overboard in laughter. And the twist at the end makes it even more fun. This is absolutely one of my all-time favorite comedies--right up there with "Mr. Mom."

One of my favorite movies. Just makes me happy when I watch it. Favorite of friends also. Arrived in perfect condition and fast delivery.

I think it was one of the best family movies I've seen and video taped it before
but as for now, I am still waiting for my purchase as the video got lost and I'm very thankful that I could get the orginal back thru DVD!
I think the world of Goldey Hawn and Kurt Russell and wished they mad more movies like this one.

After watching this romantic comedy, I have often wondered why Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell did not make more movies together. Goldie plays the perfect rich bitch who's memory loss allows her the opportunity to see life from both sides of the coin.

This film stands the test of time with ease! Ok, Kurt Russell's role seems far more dominating that I remember from when I watched this in my younger days, but it's a fun film that everyone can enjoy!

All performances are brilliant and it's an easy film to follow. One of the few films that are just the way i remember them!
