This is must read for anyone who has stood on the rim of the Grand Canyon. The book is almost a clinical study of those who met their end here by various means--which provide the chapter headings and also the title of the book. If you have visited any part of The Canyon, you will find the book poignant. If you are planning your first visit,it might be prudent to read this book beforehand.

I LIKED this book because the Grand Canyon has a fascinating mystique about it. The history of people who died there is both tragic and captivating. Some died by accident while others used the canyon to commit suicide AND there are other reasons as well . Whatever the reason, I was interested in knowing. I live 4 hours drive from the Grand Canyon.

This is a must read for anyone interested in the Grand Canyon. It read like an exciting novel - a true page turner. It is well researched and the writer is an incredibly talented writer. I loved this book and highly recommend it!

I decided to buy the book when I saw it in the gift shop at the Grand Canyon while we were on vacation. I couldn't bring myself to pay full price for the book so I decided to look for it on half.com and e-bay when we got home. Fortunately I found someone selling it at a really good price so I bought it. I haven't read it yet but I'm looking forward to reading it. It's in new condition and I paid less than half the price of it in the gift shop. The only reason I gave the book a "good" rating is because I haven't read it yet but I have looked through it and I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it.
