This book has touched my heart. The reality of growing up are not always carefree and Ponyboy is the fictional truth. I recommend this book to any teenager or adult (Im 27) that feels out of place and misunderstood. In the shine of the story ,the brothers (Darry and Soda and Ponyboy) stick together with themselves and thier friends. Its a story about who we are, about changing, growing up. This story is phenominal. Must I note that Ms.S.E. Hinton was14,15 when she wrote it!

This book provokes violence . Even thought it is fictional, it's too much for our kids...Not worth the postage !!!!
