I love Louis L'Amour. His writing, his subject, and his characters. His characters even the women have grit and determination. A job needs to be done; an outlaw needs to be caught; civilization will prevail. Or at least get a foot hold.
The old west comes to life when Louis L'Amour spins his tales. Not to mention all the movies that came from his books. A great American author.
