well the graphics didnt live up to the xbox 360's potential but it really makes up for that with story mode (witch i loved) and the multiplayer i awesome i played the multiplayer for 6 hours strait it is so fun and addicting it is awesome one of the i think the best destructable games on the market it also reminds me a little bit of mercenaries the story mode is easy when it is on easy i cant beat it when it is on normail and trust me im a guru at this game i also think it is cool that u can just call and they will send u the vehicle u want i dont like that when u stand a little bit beside were it is going to land i get sqashed i love that u have two go and take the basesand u have to wait a sec before u get it it is clearly my favoritist game and it is highly reccomended and that is y i gave it a 5 out of 5

The Outfit for the Xbox 360 is an average release for the Xbox 360. Feeling rushed and lacking the standards of a next generation system, I could help remembering games past that were similar, though more fun.

The saving grace of this game is the online gaming mode. The online section of the game is fun when placed against an opponent that does not quit, or is able to play a fair and fun game too. When playing online, it is easy to forget about the one player mode completely, which inhibits the game entirely.

The one-player game is repetitive, lacks strategy, and does not allow for the gamer to use critical reasoning skills like the online portion when pitted against another human opponent. The storyline also is non-engrossing, and does not vary itself much from the pack.

Overall, rent this game and check out the one player mode, but most likely, we'll all see you online setting up your attack.

well its not the best game in the world but it did keep me entertained for some time.. the game is unrealistic but its what i expected.. The story mode is pretty interesting although it lacks in game graphics.. overall its a decent game.. nothing spectacular but nothing horrible..

my advice: find it on ebay for a reasonable price 25-30 bux

This game is all about FUN. You can destroy everything. When I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING. That sounds like fun to me. Nice twelve missions and huge multiplayer value. Recommended game.

The outfit feels like what Mercenaries 2 would be.If you liked Mercenaries this game is for you.The graphics are not the best on the system but they are good.I like the online and multiplayer modes.The sound is also good.The destruction in the game is awesome though.Buy this one is you are a Mercenaries fan.

You play as one of 3 different specialists, fighting during WWII. This is the first XBOX 360 Game that I played and was really impressed. But since then, I've played several others, I can say the graphics are not comparable to some of the other 360 Games.

The controls took some getting used to. I enjoyed the story line and was pleased that it took a while to actually finish the game. I am the only one here that fininshed it and enjoyed it. Everyone else here became quickly bored with it. It combines the shooting aspect with a lot of strategy. I prefer to have a more strategy type game then just running thru shooting all the bad guys and game over.

I purchased my game used for under $20 and it was worth it but I wouldn't pay anymore than that for it.

I bought this game because of a general lack of games available for the xbox 360 and because i generally like war games. Having read some other reviews about this game, my expectations were for fairly average play. The game met those expectations.
The attempt to personalize the game personna is sort of cute, but i think i would prefer a more simple approach of a role and weapons selection without the personality interface. The game is not as user friendly as i would like and some controls take a lot of getting used to. It is an OK game but nothing that knocks your socks off. Not sure it is worth the price for xbox 360 games.

This is a great game premis. You are the leader of a small outfit (army) of 4 men plus yourself. At anytime during battle (if you have enough command points) you have "on demand destruction" where you can order special weapons jeeps, tanks, airstrikes, heavy stationary guns, etc. While the game is very fun it lags in next gen graphics. The graphics are nearly identical to the xbox version.

This game is sweet, it's like no other game out there that I have played. This game is a must buy for everyone.

This game is the best war game on 360... It is sorta like missionaries so if you like that game I strongly recomend The OUTFIT... BUY IT

This peculiar game has a unique style of gameplay similar to "Mercenaries",The Outfit delivers an awesome third person shooter, the touch of strategy makes it's difference between other WWII games, the game allows players to chose from the american or german army, each with 3 "heroes" which comand a team of soldiers trough an epic campaing, the level of destruction is way much better than "Mercenaries", though, it doesn't really define what "next gen" should be the graphics are pretty good, the level of replay value is high because of it's extraodinary multiplayer modes and online play, the sound effects are what you expect from a good shooter, the soundtrack may not please everyone but that is why there is an option of changing the music in the xbox360 menu. Tought not perfect is the closest to an strategy game you can find on the xbox360 until "Lord of the Rings: Battle For midle earth 2"comes out.

A first generation game on the Xbox 360. Not that there is anything wrong with that it just seems that sometimes it was either through the rushing from the publisher or just bad design choices but overall I really do enjoy this game for what it is.

You may be wondering what it is--it really boils down to a linear, more tactical version of Mercenaries (thanks to what they call "Destruction on Demand"). Basically, you are sent through individual missions which are very linear in that you will walk along a path and encounter objectives which usually just involve capturing a building or destroying something, but the way in which you do this is through the placement of armor, gun emplacements and strategic strikes (air and artillery). The game really shines when you get to the areas where the game because a little more free-form where you have options in where you want to go, because this is where you have to capture an area and then make sure that you put enough men and weapons there to hold it, which can get really crazy if they are throwing a lot of stuff at you.

Past the singleplayer game, the multiplayer plays out just like my favorite moments in singeplayer. It's an all out war where battlelines are built and each person has to either build the bigger front line or place their stuff where it counts, all at the same time managing to maneuver to strategic points to gather more money (or FUs as they are in the game) to buy more weapons for their army. It really becomes more a sandbox game in multiplayer which is what the game should've been all along.

There are a few negatives worth mentioning, such as what I said earlier where the game should really open up more and allow the player to really have to think about where they want to put their stuff. Next, the graphics cannot really compare to most of the next generation games, they are just really sub par, though the cutscenes are much better for the most part. Finally, the vehicle controls will drive you crazy because the controls limit you to using only the left joystick as steering. Whoever thought of that must have the patience of a god, because for me, everytime I ended up in a corner it took me at least a minute to get out, which is great when I have half the SS firing down on me.

Overall this game isn't going to change the world, but if you want a game that overall could be described as decent, but fun, and you loved the game Mercenaries, then this is probably for you.

The Outfit is a best described as a team based action strategy game. You start off by choosing a character, each has different health levels, speed ratings, weapons, troop commands ect. When you spawn you will also have 4 troops with you. You head out into battle begin killing and destroying the enemy and as you do this you will earn FU's (Field Units). You spend field units to buy gun emplacments, artillary cannons, machine gun nests, various vehicals including jeeps, tanks, half tracks and other weapons of mass destruction. This is all very well done and easy to place on the battlefield. The action is fun, frantic and addictive. Especially online but be sure to choose players with a good connection to you, indicated by and orange or green dot next to their name. also try to keep the amount of players in the match to three per side. Once everyone starts placing there troops things can get pretty hectic and it can lead to some lag but dont let that keep you away, the online multiplayer is alot of fun. The single player game is also fun and you will want to complete the games story mode, it's around 10-15 hours and you can replay the missions to unlock as many medals as you can. There isnt really anything else on the system quite like The Outfit and i mean that in a good way. Other than the framerate issues the graphics are the only gripe i have with this game,it's really a mixed bag. Some things look good and others not so much, some textures and character models make you want to write hate mail to the developers but some things like the vehicals, planes dropping supplies, lighting, water and sound design (other than the repetive one liners) are done quite well. You will overlook its faults once the action starts anyway I just hope the Outfit 2 will improve where it is needed. This game is priced at around $40 "New" and I have enjoyed it for hours and hours. If your only going to play the single player missions just rent it but for those with Xbox live its a keeper

great story line. not your typical first person shooter, more involved. great fetures. playable controls. over all A.

lets see. i pay $450 for an xbox 360 system to get great graphics and excellent games. then i go and get "the outfit" expecting a good game and instead the graphics are just like an atari 2600 (taken from previous review in this section). there is noway you can pay $60 for this game and walk away saying "wow this game is great". graphics are babyish and the story line sucks. you want a REAL game save your money and get call of duty. not only will you get a great game but also graphics that will make buying your 360 worth the money you spent.

after playing call of duty this is like playing a atari 2600 game. reminds me of the green plastic soldier games they came out with. boring. not even close to a game i'd recommend to anyone unless they like kiddy games. this is all about the packaging and cool previews they show you not about wwII and realistic fighting.

The most addicting aspect of this game is its online multiplayer. No cheap kills like Halo 2. I LOVE THAT. This games plays like a combination of the "Command Post" objectives in Star Wars Battlefront and the destruction of Mercenaries. Acquire different command posts like the armory and motor pool, and you can spawn heavier artillery and vehicles, without them, well, you're having a bad day in the trench. Rack up the kills to earn "Field Units" to buy the perfect defenses. But, if you are caught without any ground support, call up the flyboys and order up an airborne assault! GREAT FUN! I'd read bad review after bad review. I finally got bored and downloaded the Demo on Xbox Live, it was a great little game. So I purchased it, and it turns out it is a fantastic Co-Op game. Only 2 players, and it doesn't appear to have support to bring a friend on to Xbox Live, but the 2 Player VS and Co-Op was well worth it.

Some of it's features seem a bit clumsy, but I have to say I have been enjoying it so far.

I got a great deal on this game and that is the only reason why I bought it. It is the worst RTS I have played. I have litteraly played it 3 times and just recently traded it in to gamestop. Don't buy you will be disappointed.

My daughter bought this for my Birthday. She got it in time and was please with the price. I just love the game. I play it at least twice a week. It has good effects and is fun to play.

While this game may not be that great when it comes to graphics, it delivers with gameplay. It is a very fun co-op game that I can play for hours. My brother and I can't put this game down.
