even remakes can be classic.

It's nice to finally have this series available to own. What is probably one of the best sci-fi incarnations to come out of the nineties, this show personifies what is today standard of anthology series. Fully realized stand alone episodes, talented guest stars, poignant epi- and prologues, and universal moral and spiritual questions. While a number of these episodes are available in a randomized collection from the whole series run, there are many of my personal favorites found only in here. Under the Bed, If These Walls Could Talk, and White Light Fever are some of the creepiest episodes even if they don't have the poignancy of Second Soul or Quality of Mercy. And even though it debuted on Showtime only a few episodes had any nudity or language, and not at cost to the story. While the finale tries to tie the whole season together with a clip show, the rest of the season can't be faulted. If you like this series or anthology shows in general, I definitely recommend getting this. You won't be disappointed.
