Outer Limits Original Series Complete Box Set (DVD, 2008, 7 - Disc Set; Sensormatic; Widescreen)

Before I begin this review, I wish to offer a word of advice, and an APOLOGY, that is to the SELLER of this item.

Though I received a killer deal, I have learned that one must be very careful in interpreting selling instructions when dealing with some eBayers.

In the case of this particular seller, offering 'VERY QUICK DELIVERY' on top of 'FREE SHIPPING' did not translate to mean 4 weeks !!!

The way things turned out, it was good to be WRONG, though it was a frustrating experience.

In short, give TBSDVD a chance !!!

Regarding this collection, I challenge any fan of vintage sci-fi not to be impressed with the chance owning this collection.

Stephen King called this distinquished sci-fi anthology "the BEST SCI-FI SERIES EVER ON TV".

Personally this honor should go to the 'TWILIGHT ZONE', but why argue ???

To be able to enjoy again the combined talents of stars like WILLIAM SHATNER, ROBERT CULP, BARRY MORSE, etc; in some of the most memorable sci-fi ever aired is enough for me.

I love this DVD set. I remember watching the Outer Limits as a kid and how high tech it was at the time. This complete set is high quality, nicely boxed, and very entertaining. The package from the seller arrived very quickly, and I am completely happy with the transaction.

The format is simple and the quality is good with only a few glitches in the entire set. But there are no extras at all and the geek who narrates the opening for the menu is (to quote Bill Walton) "TERRRRible!". He sounds like a 12 year old in his basement! Just go to selection and play quickly and you won't suffer as much as a Zanti misfit! Finally, for all those like me who saw The Outer Limits as a worthy successor to Science Fiction Theater you will really enjoy sitting back quietly and going on these wonderful adventures once again.
