An interesting set up to a new 9 book series

Fate of the Jedi: Outcast is a hardcover book written by Aaron Allston. IT is the first book in a 9 book story arc in the Star Wars Universe.
Outcast is set two years after the death of Darth Caedus. The book deals with the fallout of the Jedi's decisions during the second galactic civil war. Using legal mechanisms Chief of State Daala presses a legal case against Luke Skywalker that eventually causes him to be banned for 10 years from the Jedi! As a result Luke goes on a tour of Jacen Solo's force learning path from 10 years ago.
The book is good and sets up the rest of the series. The Solo/Lando subplot is slow though. The mysterious "crazy" jedi plot is very interesting!
