A fair attempt at an arcade classic

Out Run for the Sega Master System is a decent game. The music and graphics are good for when it was made. It not nearly as good as the arcade version, but that's because it was ported to an eight bit system. We could only dream to have arcade quality games for the home use back in the 1980's and early 90's. Only a few people could own the Arcade machine and one system, the Neo Geo, had enough power to do so. There were many rip offs of this game. Rad Racer for the Nes and Victory Run for the Turbo Grafx 16 was an attempt to copy this classic game. I played the game so much when I was a Kid that I picked the game up and played it 15 years later. I beat it my first time I played it. There are some things that I feel could make the game better. First, the controls are a little touchy. The rising and falling of the road makes the game play frustrating at times. You can't see another car or turn until it is to later. The amount of time to get your car back on the road after an accident is way to long. You can pick up a copy for under $5.00 at auction or from a store, so don't get ripped off.
