Out of the Blue (2004, DVD)

I have been looking for this DVD for about a year and could not find it for less than 150.00 due to its limited release. But as luck would have it I did find it on Ebay for a very reasonable price. Less than 20.00 bucks!

This documentary is thought provoking and compelling.

First of all, everything is up to date and there is excellent footage of UFO's and modern computer simulations where video of sightings are not available. Forget the blurry blobs of the past. Feast you eyes on relatively sharp images and clear shapes in color.

Secondly, it makes use of old footage of statements made by Government officials during the late forties and fifties to great effect. Each statement on it's own seems insignificant but when many such statements are seen together it soon becomes clear that something "funny" is going on. By the end you'll realise that the government position is a joke. How stupid do they think we are?

Thirdly, this documentary is suitable for skeptics and those who know little about the subject. You will be informed about the origins of the "flying saucer" phenomenon and where it's at now. A case will be presented in which the evidence cannot be denied. Only a fool would persist in saying there is nothing to it. People who believe in the existence of extra-terrestrial life will get a lot out of it as well. You may feel like shouting "See - I told you so!".

Another interesting point is that this documentary covers the religious aspect and interviews two theologians to great effect. What they have to say is fascinating.

This is easily the best UFO documentary I have seen and I commend its creators. They have presented the evidence in a professional and exhaustive manner.

This is the most comprehensive documentary about UFOs I have ever viewed or listened to. From top official Military sightings to civilian experiences, this covers it all and is very highly recommended by me to the believer and sceptic alike. Great film if you like the subject. The film makers discussed a little bit more on Larry King when they have appeared on the show. Larry likes UFO's as he always features any new developments. I like that a guy with a pretty big show does this. Most run from things like this. Anyhow, it was the appearance on Larry's show that got me chasing after this film. For it to be out of print so fast is a shame, but people shun UFO's for whatever reasons. Think it's silly. This film seems to hover around the events that can be proven and that have weight. I was impressed with the interviews on TV and I was impressed with the work the did on this film. I hear they made another one as well....

I don't think you will be disappointed in this film at all, it is definitely one of the very best on the subject and explores in an intelligent way this very shadowy subject. A+++++++
